Research shows the average person goes 14-17 years before receiving an OCD diagnosis. The goal of this training is to provide clinicians with an introduction to OCD and related disorders with the intention that, as informed clinicians, we can reduce misdiagnosis and get individuals connected to the treatments that meet their neuropsychological needs. This training will provide an introduction to assessment and diagnosis of OCD, exploration of symptoms, and strategies for educating clients on rationale for treatment.

This training seeks to provide therapists with knowledge and tools to better understand and meet the developmental needs of their clients from young childhood through adolescence. Participants will explore the unique psychological and emotional needs of different age groups and learn practical strategies to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
