Live Virtual Training via Zoom
This intermediate - advanced level training focuses on the treatment of Relationship OCD (ROCD), a subtype marked by compulsive doubt and reassurance-seeking in intimate relationships. We’ll explore the underlying emotional function of ROCD symptoms, distinguish them from normative relationship concerns, and provide strategies for targeting mental compulsions, reassurance cycles, and morality-based fear. Emphasis will be placed on integrating ERP and I-CBT while holding space for relational vulnerability and values-aligned work.
This training is best suited for clinicians who already have clinical experience with OCD diagnosis and treatment. For those looking for a more introductory level training, please check out our On Demand Course on Introduction to OCD Treatment.
Training Objectives:
- Differentiate ROCD symptoms from typical relational uncertainty.
- Identify reassurance and checking cycles specific to ROCD presentations.
- Utilize ERP and I-CBT interventions to target mental compulsions and obsessive doubt.
