9am - 11am CST
Live Virtual Training via Zoom
This intermediate-level training introduces clinicians to Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), a transdiagnostic treatment model for obsessional doubt. We’ll explore how obsessional reasoning is maintained by inferential confusion and how therapists can use this model to help clients shift from imaginary possibility to present-moment evidence. The session will include case examples, clinical language, and guidance on integrating I-CBT alongside ERP and ACT.
This training is best suited for clinicians who already have a basic understanding of OCD diagnosis and treatment. For those looking for a more introductory level training, please check out our On Demand Course on Introduction to OCD Treatment.
Training Objectives:
- Define inferential confusion and its role in obsessional doubt.
- Identify obsessional sequences using I-CBT formulation.
- Apply I-CBT strategies to redirect clients toward sensory-based reasoning.
